The domain name <panamalaw.com>, formerly owned by Carreira Pitti P.C., was sold at a United States Marshals Service auction on August 17, 2012.

The sale is the result of a lawsuit filed against Carreira Pitti P.C. in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida by Bunkers International Corporation (Case No. 11-cv-62753) in which Carreira Pitti P.C. is alleged to have breached maritime contracts for the provision of bunkers.
